Episode 43: Shot While She Slept - Ruby

Ruby suffers a traumatic gunshot injury while sleeping in her apartment. The random spray of gunfire meant for someone else grazed critical areas of her body. One bullet struck near her elbow and exited her arm just near a recent tattoo that spells "Forever Blessed." She shares openly her struggle with PTSD, fighting to keep her arm, her darkest moment, how God spoke to her in a song and through a friend to save her life, and more of her healing journey. You won't believe what happens in the courtroom. Powerful!

This testimony is such a reminder that ONE word from God can change EVERYTHING!

A few of the highlights from Ruby:
  • If you are in a dark place, DON'T give up! Healing is possible!
  • When someone reaches out, be willing to listen, because you may that one person God will use to make all the difference.
  • Forgiveness is for YOU to be free, not necessarily for the person who has hurt you.
  • One word from God (a song, a friend, a poem) can change everything!
  • She's grateful for her hardship, because ultimately God used it to change her life for the better and resulted in growth, new perspective, healing and gratitude.
Amazing job, Ruby! Thank you for sharing this personal testimony with me. I am so pleased to hear how well you are doing and I will pray for continued blessings of good health.

Episode 42: It's a Flipping Miracle! - Emily Copland

God is the Supreme Orchestrator!

Emily Copland shares her amazing testimony of God's protection in what could have been a life ending accident. She was 13 when she was hit by a car on a bike ride. A woman witnessing the accident screams out the name of Jesus at the moment of impact and what happened next was simply extraordinary! The miracle was shared on a TV show called I Witness.

Emily shares two more examples where God was clearly protecting her, one possibly involving an angel. So amazing!

Julie shares the testimony of how God intervened so clearly to help her find her career path.

I challenge you to reflect and list out the major events in your life.  What people were placed in your path?  What circumstances were suddenly working in your favor?  Join me in praising God today for all the ways (seen and unseen) that is continually orchestrating on behalf of those who love Him.

Psalm 37:23 NIV
"The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand."

Romans 8:28 NIV
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."

Emily's insights:
"God SEES your need in the moment and he provides."
"As we wait for God to work in the next stage we can trust HIM."
"Things happening are never a surprise to God. They are never out of his reach. He will work all things out for good for those who love him."

Thank you Emily, for sharing your testimony! I so enjoyed our time together, and celebrating your miracles of protection.

Yes, God can even use a Camaro with T tops as a vehicle for a miracle!  Love this!
